Summer Art Camp at the Hudgens

Get ready for a summer of color, creativity, and fun! Our Summer Art Camp lets kids dream big, create boldly, and take home art they’ll be proud of.

Art Camp for Kids
(Ages 5-12)

Each week brings a brand-new theme packed with exciting crafts and creative projects your child can proudly take home after our Friday Art Show!

 

Campers enjoy three fun-filled classes led by talented instructors — Clay, Mixed Media, and Drawing & Painting — plus a daily Creative Recess and lunch break to recharge and make new friends. Camp runs from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with after-care available until 5:00 PM for parents on the go.

Can my child bring a device?

We ask that campers leave devices at home so they can enjoy a screen-free space filled with creativity, connection, and hands-on fun!

Will lunch be provided?

Please pack a lunch, water bottle, and two extra snacks each day. To help keep everyone safe, we ask that all lunches be nut-free.

Become a Camp Volunteer!

Love art and working with kids? Join our team as a Camp Volunteer and help make this summer a creative adventure for everyone!

Requirements:

  • Volunteers must be at least 15 years old.

  • Prior experience with children is preferred but not required — enthusiasm and teamwork are what matter most!

  • All volunteers must attend an orientation and training day in May.

  • Volunteers are expected to follow all camp policies to ensure a safe,
    positive experience for everyone.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

  • Support Camp Activities – Help instructors with materials, setup, and guiding campers through their art projects.

  • Encourage and Engage Campers – Foster a welcoming, positive
    atmosphere where campers can feel confident and creative.

  • Outdoor and Creative Play – Assist with games and activities during
    Creative Recess, keeping campers active and included.

  • Classroom and Lunch Cleanup – Help with trash collection, table wiping, and classroom tidying to keep camp spaces bright and organized.
